Vehicle description
EAGLE BUS - 1981- re-manufactured in 1996, including lengthened from 40 ft. to 45 ft. - widened from 96 in. to 102 in. - roof raised 9 in. - complete factory rebuilt Detroit Diesel 8V92 crate engine installed in 1999 w/appx. 95,000 miles since then - 5 spd. Allison automatic trans. Jake brakes cross-flow radiator air throttle 220 gal fuel tank Alcoa alum. wheels new tires on front good tires on rear tilt wheel power steering 200 gal. fresh water 2 roof top heat pumps w/heating and cooling lots of beautiful light ash cabinets day/night blinds dishwasher - washer dryer side-by-side full size refrigerator w/ice maker 27 in. T.V. above driver"s seat large walk thru bathroom w/whirlpool tub and shower Wabesto electric heating Ramco heated mirrors four point leveling jacks water cooled 4 cylinder diesel Kubota powered generator Trace inverter 2 new 12V 8D starting batteries 10 new 6V deep cycle batteries for the house system receiver hitch - has bottom floor slide-outs for the deep cycle batteries - slide out w/air bags for the generator - slide out for the center baggage bay that is full width and can go to either side - there is another slide out for the front bay that I removed to make room for the Honda baggage bay car, but is included with the sale, so you have some options in that bay - things that the bus needs would be a paint job, as shown, new fabric for the 25 ft. awning, and there is a small appx. 3 in. crack in the top of the driver"s windshield that just barely shows - the Honda is a 1972 Z600 2 cylinder which is an air cooled engine - I"ve cut it down to fit in the bus - it will cruise at 55 - 60 mph - I sell parts for these cars on under Eagle-Hd, and I have for appx. 20 years, so repairs are not a problem - I"m listing them together for $55,500 but if someone wants the bus but not the Honda, I would take $6000 off of the price and sell the bus for $49,500 - you can see a short video on youtube with the bus and the honda - look up four words - ray cave honda 600 - - - I have owned this bus since 1998 and I"m starting to slow down quite a bit - the bus should go anywhere and back with ease - we used to go to both the Texas hill country in the spring and Sturgis every fall, plus many other places - I"ve always kept the bus service and ready to travel - I"ve had a clear title in my name since 1998 - I live appx. 25 mi. from K.C.I. airport, and can meet a prospect easily on short notice -
