1981 Dodge Champion Transvan 46,000 original miles. 5.9 360 engine, sleeps 4-6 depending on how good of friends you are. Has a brand new never used camping toilet, furnace, water, stove, fridge, is wired for a tv, factory a/c and roof a/c.
Good: Has new front shocks, battery, starter, alternator, new front brakes(pads, lines, calipers) Runs and drives great and is a real attention getter. Tires are in good shape
Bad: Radio could be replaced, factory a/c needs charged but I am throwing in 2 cans of original r12 with it.
Roof ac works good but could use a new cover. They are available as the unit is still made today.
Could use some new curtains as they are stained
Has 3 countertops that should be replaced. They function but should be redone. The carpet in the floor could use a good cleaning. Nothing major but some new carpet would be nice.
Side windows are difficult to open just from age. They slide open but its not easy. I just leave them closed and there are no issues.
Overall this is a fine rv and great for trips. Has a factory hitch on it and has plenty of power to pull a boat or whatever you have.
Keep in mind this is 40 years old and not brand new but it is really cool.
