Vehicle description
We purchased this trailer at an estate sale and it was a wreck. We replaced and rebuilt most of it and were intending to use it. We bought a van and now we don"t need this one. It was most like handmade. The posts are heavy pipes. The frame and axle are old but very sturdy. It has heavy leaf springs suspension. I will say we painted at it. We knocked most of the rust off and put some black spray paint on the poles and frame. We removed all the wood which was rotten and replaced it with new 2x4 and heavy planks. The chicken wire type sides are in good condition with the exception of the front which is pushed out a little. It has a swing door on the rear and we chain it shut. The hubs were removed and the bearing were good so we repacked them. The wheels and tires which were the most expensive part are brand new and don"t have a single mile on them. We replaced the tongue because the old one was bent. I would recommend a little wielding because it is bolted on. Currently it doesn"t have any lights but I have a new set and will include them. We just never got around to putting them on. It has brand new safety chains and dolly. No reserve auction, must be picked up locally. Auction may without notice because it is for sale locally. I will entertain reasonable BIN offers.
