Vehicle description

Kenworth K100E Aerodyne COE 110" currently a pulling truck, but could easily be returned to "Chrome Shop Mafia" specs. I purchased this truck in 1979 from Kenworth of Indianapolis. It came with a Cummins KTA 525 and an RTO 12515 w/3:55 gears on tall rubber. It was a 240" wheel base with a 5" drom box mounted behind the cab: It was an intimidating unit when hooked to a 48" trailer back in the day. In the 90"s, the old KTA was sold to a mining co. and the truck sat in our yard forgotten and forlorn. Around 1992 I decided to turn it into a pulling truck. Being mindful of the weight classes, I put a 475 hp twin-turbo Cummins in it with a 14609P transmission. Seeking optimum hp, the engine was sent to Bruce Mallison @ Cummins Performance Engines, Exit 4, off the Pa. Pike for special everything from pistons, crankshaft, valves, cam etc. Teflon coating of all internals, fuel preporator systems, industrial fuel pump and hordes of other modifications. A Dyno was performed at Effingham Truck Sales, pegged their dyno at 1500 rpm started shredding drive tires at 1700 max rpm at high idle was now 2700 rpm and we could not hold it on the dyno @1800 rpm. Suspected well over 700 hp, this truck won many sanctioned pulls in it"s day! Comes with custom draw bar super singles with polished aluminum rims, Detroit Locker rears 4:11 ratio, 48" slider to adjust to track conditions, weight bar brackets, etc, etc. We have over 100 thousand invested in this truck in modifications since 1992 thru 2015. If you want to pull here"s an easy, safe, reliable, way to start. Auction begins at a reasonable $32,000.00 with no reserve! Good luck and may the winner of this auction have an incredible time!
