Up for auction is a very nice 1980 Chevrolet C70, FMC fire truck. I bought this truck from a small Vermont Town"s Volunteer fire dept, It originally had a built in pump but it was removed by the dept a few years ago when they converted the truck to a forest / rescue truck This truck is powered by a 366 v8 gas engine and a 5 speed manual tranny, the truck starts, runs, drives and stops very well, The body on the truck is very clean with virtually no rust and the interior is above average. This truck has 17,087 actual miles and was always kept inside the heated fire station until I purchased it. It will make a very nice parade truck or water hauler ( It does still have the water tank) or remove the body and make a dump truck or wrecker out of this truck. I am about 50 miles from the Burlington airport and they have taxis running out of there that will bring you to my place , also I am only 15 miles from the Amtrak station in Randolph and I could meet you there if you wish to come in on the train.
