Rare Vintage beauty. This 1979 Ford Shasta, has a strong running engine, straight body, new mattress, works on 30 amp electricity, has a good furnace, A/C water pump, microwave, stove, lights, and toilet. She is the perfect length to still be able to park, but roomy enough for a couple of people to be comfortable. My partner and I have taken her cross country twice, had the brakes done last year, and lived full time in her. She has been a wonderful home and traveler. The axle got too hot and melted, (maybe not enough grease in the bearing?) We can"t afford to repair her right now. We parked in the parking lot of Tillamook Sporting Goods, and the owner, who didn"t want us there overnight, came and broke out our driver"s side window. We have since pushed her out to the street, but we need to sell her right away, to someone who can haul her off. The counters, carpet, and cupboards are in good shape. The roof leaks, but we put up a tarp when we"re parked, and we spray the ceiling with killz once a year to keep it from growing mold, the fridge doesn"t work, the skylight in the shower is broken, tub is in rough shape, but still usable, shower works. You can"t switch to the reserve gas tank, the door has been patched, but it"s damaged, and the step is missing. You will have to tow her from Tillamook Oregon, she"s got a good water heater, 4 burner stove, toilet, sink, cushions, 16.5 tires and rims, all her parts are still here, and you can pick her up cheap. Must be picked up within 72 hours of auction closing. You are highly encouraged to get a Uship quote or tow quote before bidding. There will be a storage fee of $25 per day, if you haven"t got her after 5 days. There is a $150 non-refundable deposit, applied to the purchase price when you come pick her up. This is the third time we"ve listed, because the other two bidders did not factor in the cost of moving her.
