For auction: A Vintage 1979 Scamp "Acorn". We have owned this trailer for over 10 years. It functions well as is, and would be a beauty when fully restored. The Acorn was produced in 1979 when Scamp was sued over the use of the "Scamp" name by another RV manufacturer. Scamp won and resumed the use of the Scamp name in 1980. Every year somebody stops at our house to try and purchase this Little guy. The time is right for someone else to enjoy this RV.
The Acorn is in used vintage condition, and will need some TLC. The fiberglass shell is still in good shape. We paid a professional vintage RV craftsman about 1500 to replace the axle/wheelbase and sub-floor. We also did a bit of wiring, floor coverings,screens etc. The rest of the restoration is up to you.
