1979 Dodge B300 Transvan Camper Van 69,294 Original miles 318 V8 5.2 Motor Automatic Trans About 15 feet long & 11 feet tall
IT STARTS RIGHT UP, DRIVES AND STOPS BUT NEEDS A BIG TUNE UP! IT"S GOTTA GO! *The front end of the van seems to have gotten in the accident in the past and will need some extra reinforcement on the driver side part of the frame near the control arm. Photos are posted of the condition!
What it needs for a all around tune up:
It"s condition is a result of a lot of sitting outside, but has been stored indoors in my hands. I have not been able to do a thorough inspection of the engine but just assume the typical wear and grease this small block V8"s get. Probably majority original parts! Tires & Brakes Frame support in the front end driver side as stated Brake & Fuel lines might need a refresher. Replace gaskets all around from trans pan to manifold (Haven"t looked myself but was planning on as you should.) Windshield wiper motor $50 Reinforcement in the rear door step, use to have a trailer hitch for support but bought with it not there Speedometer works & the lights but other parts of the dash needs some rewiring or new fuses. Rusty but trusty DOES NOT HAVE A BATHROOM Water is not hooked up Have not tried the power outlets although 2 car batteries Radio Headunit & speakers work but need to hold it in place for it to work
What it has/replaced: New roof sealed from last owners New Alternator New lights 2 Car Batteries Connected to a breaker box with 3 prong outlets for power. 2 Booth style storage units with a table in between Kitchenette with bowl & handpump 2 captains chairs 2 water jugs, a fold down bench, extra 70’s triangle vent windows, a spare door (that is a bit too small but has a window!), 2 Car batteries
If you don"t live near 60540 you might want to consider towing although it drives just fine. If you need help I may be able to assist you with my towing guy! Or bring it to you myself.
Disclaimer: I am going to ask for a $250 deposit! Last time on Ebay auction it sold but no response from winner & completely wasted my time. This is just to know you are a serious buyer! It"s got to go! Be safe out here.
