Vehicle description
This thing has the look! It"s 28 feet and the body has 98K on it. It"s completely original and the body and glass are in great condition. There is one small spot behind the driver"s side rear wheel (see pic) but it looks like it would be an easy fix with a few sheet metal screws. Beyond that, the body is VERY straight - no major dents of any kind. With some elbow grease, these things can really shine. I included a picture of a spot I spent a couple of minutes on with some rubbing compound. It came to almost a mirror shine! I just put nearly $10,000 (literally) into the mechanics, to include; a new/used 454 motor with only around 40,000 miles on it, radiator, brakes, generator work, fuel lines, fuel pump and more. Runs and drives just fine. It does need some work still. Needs new mufflers and front tires. The electric entry step is stuck in the open position. The awning will need new fabric. The gas gauge doesn"t work, you could just use the odometer though. The radio doesn"t currently work. The air bags in the rear suspension do eventually fill and level the ride but after you turn off the engine they lose all of their air. I believe they need new seals. The interior did have one small leak over the entry door that has since been fixed. There is a small soft spot in the floor right by where you step in. Also has a couple of soft spots in the floor along the walls by two of the sliding windows. I think they could use new seals as well. Pretty easy fixes, as you"re more than likely going to replace the flooring anyway. It will need new upholstery too. Since it sat unused for several years, the change in temperatures inside the RV made the fabric deteriorate in spots. The fabric in the chairs, other than the pull-out couch, is good, but all of the fabric on the accent pieces and window treatments will need to be replaced. The good news is, everything is here, so you"ll essentially have a template for everything you"ll need to get this thing back to its former glory. These are rare and this is an awesome candidate for a simple remodel or a complete renovation. Clean title in hand. I’ve realized with two kids under three and a full time job I just don’t have the time for this project. Feel free to come take a look if you"re local. Again, please don"t expect perfection. After all, it is 40 years old and it does still need some work. If it were perfect it"d easily be worth $30K+. However, the foundation is definitely here and the possibilities are endless with this beauty! Feel free to message me with any questions and I"ll do my best to answer them. This is also listed for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end this listing at any time. Thanks for looking!
