“Overall, this RV is in good shape mechanically and cosmetically and is ready to go and to squeeze some fall camping fun in before winter comes! We have greatly enjoyed traveling in it during the past 7 1/2 years and have covered a lot of ground. It has taken us to half of the US and almost half of Canada. We would trust driving it from Pennsylvania to California tomorrow. Please read the description for additional information. Please contact me if you would like additional pictures”

Floor And Roof Are Solid, No Soft Spots We have owned this vintage motorhome (a 70"s tiny house) for the past 7 ½ years. In that time, it has taken our family through half of the US and almost half of Canada. In July, we took it on the longest trip yet, going as far as Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming and stopping at many places along the way (traveling about 5,500 miles round trip). You can see all of the places that we have gone with this motorhome by looking at the map on the back. We would trust the camper to complete and had planned to finish the journey of filling in both maps, traveling as far as California in the US and the western Canadian Providences. Our family simply became too large to continue traveling in this comfortably with 2 teenage boys who are now taller than us. So, now we are offering it up for someone else to finish the journey. Maybe you even want to revisit some of the places the camper has already been? In any case, the wide open road is yours to enjoy! We will be including with the sale a potable water hose, sewer hoses, extra oil, a microwave as well as some kitchen items. We are the 3 rd owner; but, 2 nd family to own this motorhome. We purchased it 7 years ago in 2012. The previous owner owned it for 12 years before that and the owner before (the previous owner’s parents), purchased it new. We always parked it on stone and it was covered every winter. Any leaks (only a few minor ones over the years) were fixed immediately to prevent long term damage. One of the best things about this is that it is 19’ from front to back. It will literally fit in any regular car sized parking spot. This camper has taken us many places that larger RVs simply would not be able to go. Due to the small size, it is quite easy to drive and maneuver in tight spots… believe me we have many humorous stories about some of these times. If you have never driven a motorhome before, this will be very easy to master. Another bonus of this RV is that it only has 4 tires (2 in front and 2 in back). This means only buying 4 tires instead of 6 when they need to be replaced and cheaper toll charges. During the time we have owned this camper, we replaced the propane valve in 2012; the heater core in 2013; the alternator, radiator, master cylinder and vacuum booster in 2016; the water pump, fan clutch and carrier bearing in 2017 and furnished it with a brand new spare tire, spare tire bracket and spare tire cover just this year in 2019. It has not needed much outside of that and has been inexpensive to have inspected.
The holding tank does not leak. We were told it has a 5 gallon water heater (although we have no way of confirming). It has one fuel tank that holds about 30 gallons; it will get 7-10 miles per gallon depending on terrain and driving style. It does not have leveling jacks; however, was very easy to level using leveling blocks (the ones that look like big flat legos). Although it is carbureted, we did have it up in elevations over 8,000 this summer. We did not make any adjustments and were still able to chug along at 40-45 mph. If desired, it could be converted to a more modern system. It will take you right back in time to the 70s with its breezy floor vents and wing windows! It does leak and use some oil. We always took a gallon of oil along and checked it every morning before starting up and it has not been an issue otherwise. There is also some cosmetic damage around the ceiling vents. They do not leak; but, water may have rolled in when the vents were open at one time and the layers of Luan paneling have separated. This could be replaced, patched and painted or it could be used as it is. This motorhome gets lots of attention. We would frequently come out of a store or destination to find people admiring the map on the back and when we would walk over they would frequently ask us questions about the RV. Overall, this RV is ready to go and to squeeze some fall camping fun in before winter comes! It’s a great little motorhome that has already done a lot of traveling and has a lot of traveling to do. You’ll certainly have a hard time finding another one like it! Please contact me if you have any questions or if you would like to make arrangements to come and see it in person. I have more pictures and would be happy to send some upon request or even take specific pictures of the motorhome.
