“Runs great, Recent engine tuneup -- & passed smog test. Also recent brake & power steering work. Body in good condition but has big dents at left tail light, several small to medium scratches & dents here & there, a few small rust spots. Interior condition good but shows much wear: Several patches of wood paneling in need of repair Aluminum-frame windows leaked alot when I bought van, so I sealed them all closed with silicone sealant inside & outside, Still sealed shut. Sofa-bed has a bad sag at right front & cover fabric worn -- bed needs to be replaced. Shag carpeting is very worn.. Van had a hallway rug inside when I bought it, it's still there. Some rust atop stove (I never used), fridge looks in good shape but I never operated it (110v or propane). Bought new set of Kumho KL51 tires at purchase & have put just 2k miles on them, so tires excellent.. Windshield wipers work but windshield WASH doesn't work. I never used aircon but it doesn't blow cold -- needs charge?” |

Vehicle description
Lived in this beautiful great-running classic RV/van for two and a half years (from June 2016), drove it just under 2k miles in all that time (after initial drive from Burbank to South San Francisco), just moving it to meet urban parking needs and for fuel. Glad I mentioned fuel: Fuel gauge is broken, always shows about 3/8 tank - so I just kept fuel near full all the time, rarely drove it over 50 miles between top-offs (watched trip-meter & re-set to 0000 at each fill-up). Odometer at 47,812 - will be slightly higher because I"ll need to re-park it a few times, & top off gas. Odometer has only five digits, so my guess is the actual miles greater (?) Van takes regular gas (does not like premium). I r eplaced a burnt-out windshield wiper motor & got wipers working - but not windshield wash. (When setting wiper speed to OFF from intermittent or high, lever has to be in EXACT correct position, not a hair off.) Tranny may have a slight leak (?), but I haven"t seen any leaking since I had the engine tune-up/oil change/brake & power steering repair + smog check & registration done in June of this year. Van has propane & 110v connections at left side, has sink + fridge + stove top but I never tried using any of that stuff - except I stored my vitamin pills in fridge (keeps fairly cool even without power). I had TONS of books and bookshelves and clothing, etc. inside van until I just decided to sell it, and I did no highway driving, so my fuel mileage was on the low side - 7 to 9mpg? But with a more reasonable load and more highway driving you should see over 10 mpg? (The 440 cu in engine B200 is rated at up to 16 mpg - highway.) Van only has the dash air-conditioning, and that tests blowing warm air - needs charging? Headlights, turn signals, brake lights, running lights all work. 4-way flashers I think don"t work (?) Front cab courtesy lights, chronometer & cigarette lighter all work. Never tried the cruise control. Driver"s seat & front passenger seat have faux leather covers. Passenger seat in deteriorated condition before covered. Driver"s seat in better shape but some stitching has come loose. Handicap ramp works great - reverse gull-wing ramp. Just tested ramp for the first time since purchase and it worked fine except only with corded toggle switch. Row of control buttons inside & outside van not working now. ( Ramp has red warning lights which don"t work - need new bulbs? I added some weatherstripping to handicap door edges but door still not air-tight - but not noisy or anything. When I tested ramp I was reminded you have to be parked on level ground - no road curb and higher ground at side, or ramp can"t go down all the way. Curved ramp door goes down electrically (corded toggle) & then manually you fold out ramp atop lowered door, To close, fold ramp in, then close ramp door electrically, with toggle. I"ll include maintenance/repair records. Feel free to ask any questions. Parking it is a bother for me, it will be nice for me to see it go, Awesome van, though. Freaking HUGE engine. A worthwhile restoration project? I"m selling at NO RESERVE, so please bid sincerely. Start bid is $500, Buy It Now price $3100. (Had to re-list. Auction ending 11/24 had 3 legitimate bidders and one non-paying deadbeat who bid highest. Starting bid $500 again but this time not accepting bids from low-feedback bidders, sorry.) Happy bidding again.
