163014105626 Alas the time has come to sell my Chinook. This 1978 Toyota Chinook Newport is a one of a kind collector"s item. It has a fiberglass shell and is built on a Hi-Lux chassis with the ever reliable 20R engine. This Chinook has been an awesome adventure mobile and I"ve put a lot of work into it as I did not have intentions of selling it. I recently go married (The Mrs. wants it gone!) and will be moving to Europe for work and the camper can"t come with me. You won"t find a camper that can sleep more and get better mileage while still fitting into a regular parking spot. The tittle is totally clear and I have receipts for all the following to get everything perfect under the hood: Engine rebuild: $2100 Tire replacement and rebalance - $600 New radiator and fan clutch - $400 New battery and cables - $360 New brake master cylinder & flasher assembly - $470 Carburetor rebuild - $400 (I don"t actually have the receipt for this anymore. I misplaced it).
