This camper has been such a treat to own. It cruises easily at 65-70, and barely loses speed on minor hills. Pulls larger inclines much easier than the big wood ones. Starts right up with no overheating, smoking. Very reliable. Thumbs up everywhere with the nostalgic 70s body style. It gets around 16-20 MPG if you keep up with the semis at 65 MPH in 4th gear. Once you kick her into 5th, fuel economy starts to drop. It can maintain 70-75, but she prefers 68. I followed my buddy pulling a trailer at 55 MPH, and I got 23 MPG. It has a sink that drains directly outside, all I ever used it for was brushing teeth. I’m including a brand new chemical portable toilet. Also the 3 burner stove i removed. This camper fits me (six foot one) and my girlfriend just fine. The top bunk does have cushions, but we used it for storage or my pitbull. A smaller child could fit. She starts up always. I picked it up in Spokane Washington, and drove back to Chicago without a hiccup. She will not let you down. There are some issues like any antique vehicle. There still is some oil leaking, my mechanic thinks the oil pump gasket. The front brakes are pulsing, meaning time for rotors and pads. She does stop fine now. The parking brake was disconnected. I use a wheel chuck. The paint is not perfect. There are some drips and flakes here and there. But very presentable. If you don’t like thumbs up and being the star at gas stations, she may not be for you. People are really drawn to it. It has a spare, but looses air after a few days. I do have two identical tires as the fronts that can be included. They were replaced with heavier duty Goodyear’s in the rear. The speedometer quit working this past weekend. I believe the cable may be bad. I am still trouble shooting, and I may figure it out before the end of the auction. I will include a GPS speedometer for the winning bidder over $5000 if it’s not fixed by the end of the auction. There is a trailer hitch for your hitch rack. It does have wiring for a trailer tho I never pulled one. The rack is where I kept my generator. Though the solar and dual battery bank has always been sufficient for me. Even watching movies, powering a regular house fan, the ceiling fan, charging phones, and lights. The generator was only for the AC unit. It’s not included, but if wanted I can throw it in for the right price. It’s a quiet Yamaha 2000 watt clone. I can run the AC for 4+ hours on the 1 gallon tank. Text me with any questions, and I do have a few videos I can send. Deposit is due upon completion of the auction, and is non refundable. Please do not bid if you cannot follow through. If you have zero feedback, please contact me before bidding. I have done my best to describe the faults, and am happy to answer any questions. You are also welcome to inspect at anytime. The camper is for sale locally, and I reserve the right to end this auction early Thanks
