Vehicle description

We"ve made a number of improvements with the idea to keep our bus, but we"re now moving to Hawaii so need to lighten the load for our little family.
ABOUT THE REVCON 250:
- Aluminum monocoque aircraft construction - Revcon belonged to Airstream"s previous head engineer
- 1977 was the last year of this "flat nose" body style in a compact form at 25.6 feet long
- 6"6" headroom and an open layout makes for a wonderful roomy feel inside
- Front wheel drive - 455 Oldsmobile Toronado V-8 engine. 11,000 lbs GVWR.
- Large 14 Gallon propane tank fuels a Magic Chef 4 burner stove & glass doored oven, a new catalytic heater, newer full size fridge/freezer (also works on electric when plugged in)
- Pull out rear bumper could be used to haul bikes or a motorcycle
- We have receipts for just about all of the items we"ve done and the former owner"s receipts as well.

THE GOOD: IMPROVEMENTS SINCE MAY 2017
- New Edelbrock Performance Carburetor installed this summer - $950.00
- 2 top of the line AGM Deep Cycle coach batteries (Vmaxtanks VMAX SLR155 AGM 12v 155ah) - $619.00
- New 40 Gallon Water tank - $444.00
- Replaced a monster sized low efficiency furnace with a quiet Camco Wave 6 Catalytic heater that uses very little propane - $270.00
- Updated electrical system - $1,218.13
- Suburban IW60 On Demand Suburban RV Water Heater - $725.00
- 4 Toyo M920 14 Ply semi truck tires less than 2K miles - $1,565.76
- 4 19.5 custom wheels less than 2K miles - $1,100.00
- New brakes - $155.00
- New Exhaust System/Mufflers done by a Custom Exhaust Specialities of Bend, Oregon - $862.00
- New front wheel bearings, seals, sway bar links, etc. - $1,031.00
- We bought her in Ventura California and had the front end components and transmission rebuilt before a six month trip to British Columbia. - $7,400.00
- Many other odds and ends such as new sink faucet, water pump, updated much of the plumbing, new distributor, new alternator, new spark plugs, 2 overhead Maxxfans, etc). Also note the cushions and Front seats chairs were installed by previous owner just prior to our purchase. We have the receipts for these as well
THE BAD: THINGS WE DIDN"T GET TO YET
- Replacing the carpet in the driver area up front.
- New heat proof rubber in the engine firewall area - to reduce/eliminate engine noise and the occasional gas fume smell when starting the engine
- Replacing the bathtub faucet. I"ve cut it out and capped it for now. It leaked into the tub when in use. I have a replacement faucet but haven"t gotten to it yet. The rest of the plumbing works just fine.
- Replacing the flooring. It doesn"t really need it as the previous owner put in the laminate flooring you see here just prior to our purchase. We did buy and will include a high quality gray weathered wood flooring for later install. We had intended to paint the interior all in a creamy off white and this flooring would have gone perfectly with it.
- We haven"t been able to get the AC fired up, but it could be a simple issue. It was working earlier last summer when plugged in at a campground
- Replacing three of the window screens. One has a hole and two look a little worse for wear.
WHERE"S THE BUS?
The bus is currently with us in Nelson, British Columbia (3 hours North of Spokane in Canada). We"ll be here with the bus until the last week of November, then we"ll drive the bus down to Spokane, Washington to transfer to the new owners or put into storage for the Winter. Of course, you"re welcome to come here to Nelson to see it, but we"ll still need to drive it back across the US border because it is a USA vehicle (titled in Washington State). Canadian residents would need to import into Canada.
Cheers!
