Vehicle description

Barn Find. I bought this camper from the estate of the original Owner in the summer of 2017. It was used very little by the original owner & always kept in the barn when not in use. We only camped in it 3 times. We enjoyed it so much we decided to buy a motorhome. Therefore, this beauty is up for sale. As you can see by the pictures it is in very good condition for being 42 years old.
The refrigerator (4 cf)works on electric, I never tried it on gas. Stove top burners work & so does the oven. See pic on how clean the oven is. Has furnace with wall mount thermostat, not tested. Water Heater not tested. I never filled the water tank nor did I hook it up to "city water". Has rear ladder & roof rack. Cabinet over dinette is a fold down bunk. Wet bath: toilet, lave, & shower all in one. All interior lights work, as does the 110 volt to 12 volt converter. Tail lights work. One clearance light is missing a lens. A few others need new bulbs. Porch light over entrance door works. Camper has two 20 pound propane tanks. They have gas in them (not sure how much) & are the old style valves. Back in 1977 you could ride in the camper while traveling. In the vanity alcove you will see the Intercom box to talk to the people in the truck cab. Also on that wall is the thermostat, 110 volt outlet & a 12 volt socket.
There are cracks in the escape hatch in the overhead bunk area. I covered them with Flexseal Tape. There are 3 lift jacks on the camper. I cannot get the tripod stand off of one of them (see pic). I just fold that one up when we travel. The cushion in the cab over bunk has a 4" clean cut in it, pic included. The back side of this cushion looks great. All other cushions in great shape. I had it covered for winter. The truck camper cover is included.
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A HEAVY CAMPER WEIGHING IN AT 2850 POUNDS, YOU MUST HAVE A 3/4 TON OR BETTER TRUCK WITH AN 8 FOOT BED. My 1995 Ford F250 handled it fine. I think my max speed was 70 mph. There are chains & turn buckles to tie it to you truck, NO brackets for your truck are included.
This auction is for the Truck Camper ONLY. Sold with Bill of Sale Some original sale paper work on the camper is included. Original sales receipt includes: July 14, 1977 cost new $3,950.00
Email with any questions or comments. Would consider meeting part way if you pay for my gas.
