Vehicle description

I am selling my 1977 GMC Palm Beach motorhome. It is pretty much original inside, with the exception of the full size foam mattress I put in. It still has the original green 70"s style shag rug! It has 87254 original miles, and it acts like it!
The engine is a Oldsmobile 403, it was rebuilt in 2006, and has about 7000 miles on the rebuild. It is equipped with headers and a rebuilt carb. I changed out all the belts and installed a double pulley on the alternator, and had that rebuilt as well. The front hubs were done as well by Ken Frey, and are greasable by way of a zerk fitting on each knuckle. It works out very well for easy service of the bearings. The entire front end is tight and as it should be, and it drives and handles very well. I wouldn"t hesitate to hop in it and drive it cross country tomorrow. It is equipped with a Onan 6000 watt generator, which runs beautifully, and supply"s the power you need. The refrigerator gets good and cold, and is a 12V or 120V system. The furnace works but it is out of propane. I installed recently LED tailights, which are a vast improvement, as well a a new washer bottle for larger capacity, and new style wiper arms. Under the coach, the frame is good and solid, it was originally a Virginia coach, so the underneath is in surprisingly good shape for a 40+ year old coach. The glass is all intact, and looks great. It even still has the original central vacuum system in it, and it works. .
The bad is not too much, thankfully. It has a few spots of body damage where the awning was the prior owner had, and the wind took it off. You can see that in the passenger side pictures. It also has blowout damage on the driver side rear. I have the replacement piece for it. Then, in the front, a tree branch fell and did some body damage to the front driver corner. The replacement piece is ordered and should be here shortly. If it is not here by the time you pick up the GMC it will be sent directly to you.
The only reason I am selling it is I hate to see it just sit there. My job went to 6 days a week, and I just don"t have the time to use her like I planned. . She deserves to go places, with someone who has the time to go and have fun! This coach, you can keep it as a survivor, or redo it into something super special!
If you have any questions, please don"t hesitate to ask!
Cash only at pickup.
