Vehicle description
Low milage, mostly original with only 2 owners.
I bought this from an elderly man who was the original owner. He said he absolutely loved it but had to stop traveling for health reasons in 1985. It had been sitting behind his son"s house for nearly 30 years when I found it five or so years ago. He told me that the odometer was correct and I"ve not seen any evidence otherwise. Though it was all original when I first saw it, it was a bit of a mess. All of the roof vents were broken and much of the headliner, upholstery, and carpeting was ruined and the upper cabinets were in pretty rough shape. I removed the original front furnishings including the sofa/bunk beds and dinette (these are included) to make room for a love seat, small table w/ 2 chairs and 36" tv (these are not included).
Here is what is new: new roof vent and pipe stack covers new headliner throughout new vinyl flooring and trim refinished upper cabinets new LED room lights installed on underside of upper cabinets new LED lighting in bathroom new custom galley cabinet with ceramic tile counter top new Graystone RV microwave new Whale RV electric 2 burner stove permanently installed bed in rear, no mattress included (depending on how you look at it it is either a large double or a small queen) new carpet on driver"s deck new 40 gal water tank w/ new level sensor new OEM dump tank and main valve gate w/ new level sensor rebuilt carburetor new mechanical fuel pump new electric fuel pump at tanks rebuilt furnace passenger side rear airbag replaced w/ new old stock airbag drivers side rear airbag replaced with good condition used airbag (good spare also included) new air suspension 12V electric air compressor 2 new deep cycle coach batteries new Powermax converter battery charger new engine starter battery 6 new tires
Tested and checked out okay: water heater LPG tank rear AC unit sinks and shower engine starts easy and runs well transmission shifts properly
Items needing work: brakes - kinda hard to get this big girl to stop! coach water pump - works but is noisy air suspension leaks down after a couple days - jack stands included! windshield wipers exterior paint and trim - all original and fairly scruffy! sliding window locks are included but need to be installed the roof ladder mount points need fixing refrigerator doesn"t get very cold Onan generator runs great but the starter solenoid doesn"t always disengage
Full disclosure: This RV has not been completely restored and is far from pristine. I"ve listed the condition of all the major items here but this is an old rig that sat for a long time and there are probably many small things that could use some attention. The windshields are fogged around the edges and the drivers side has a crack down low that cant be seen in the pics You will want to have the brakes, hoses and belts checked out before starting on a long trip There are 2 small roof leaks on the passenger side; 1 in front, the other in back. The roof seams have all been sealed with polyurethane sealer, the roof leaks are most likely around screws that attach the awning
Payment: $1000 non-refundable deposit must be paid within 48hrs. Full balance is due at pickup and can be made with cash or cashiers check. RV must be picked up within 14 days of auction unless other arrangements are made in advance of auction.
