Up for grabs is a rare 1977 Dodge Xplorer camper van. It is classified as a motorhome. Clean title in my name and fresh Oregon plates should be here within 6 weeks from DMV (if sold before their arrival, plates & title will be mailed to the buyer when they arrive).
It runs and drives, but it will need a good look over before you plan any serious trips. I drove it over 120 miles last month and had a blast doing it. Other drivers look upon it in awe, seriously. It shows 22,850 miles on the odometer (however with a 5-digit odometer, I suspect it"s 122,850, but I cannot guarantee exact mileage). I recommend you trailer it home.
The interior will need to be cleaned and renovated/restored to your needs. Floor plan includes a sink, gas burners, fridge, microwave, table & seating, closet, wet bath and a bedroom among other things. There is also an onboard Onan generator, an awning, roof air conditioning and an old school TV antenna! Operating condition of all the goodies is unknown, but it seems to be originally complete. It even comes with the factory Xplorer motorhome manual!
Some dedicated time and investment could get this thing running and looking great. Make no mistake, this is a project and needs lots of love.
