Vehicle description

1976 Toyota Chinook MPG pop-top class C mini RV.
These classics are harder and harder to find due to a limited number of units made and a number used for projects. Out of the different models I really like the MPG paint scheme best, it is a great overland look. Being a running, driving, Northwest vehicle one could use it as is, restore it further, customize your own camper vehicle, add 4x4, or DIY your own vision. This Chinook was both purchased and kept in Idaho. I bought it a couple years ago but have only put a few hundred miles on it due to other projects and being busy.
In that time I have added; · Battery. · Additional rear leaf springs. · Valve cover gasket. · Water pump. · Fuel pump. · A bunch of tune up parts and fluids. · Tires. · New custom cushions/covers. · Radio and speakers. · Much of the outside water, power plugs and nozzles. · A used front bumper. · Since it had sat a bit before I bought it, I ran cleaner through the carburetor and this has mostly smoothed outthe idle. But someone that is a better mechanic than I could likely tune it a bit better. And I imagine a some other items I cannot recall off hand.
When I bought it to keep and went through with the intent to tune up and fix any mechanical issues, but yet keep it as original aspossible. So I have worked to do what I found needed to get it in solid functional running condition. Cosmetically however it is still a 1970’s vehicle with dents dings and wear and tear inside and out. There is some staining under the bed platform attached to the roof (I have since sealed up bolts on the roof but they shouldbe resealed every so often). And many items like the seats and carpet appear to be original and are worn accordingly. So one should not expect brand new or a show rig, rather a used classic 1970s vehicle. But it is a functional RV, not a rust belt state demo.
I have attached as many pictures as the listing would allow, please let me know if you would like to see anything further or have any questions. I want to make sure you get what you expect, are happy with your purchase, and to see this classic be taken forward and enjoyed further. You are also welcome to come and take a look in person. Feel free to reach out. I expect timely deposit and payment in full, but after that I am flexible and happy to store it for a while as needed and to work with you on pick up timing or with meeting your shipping company. Including driving it to Boise if that helps. For other online payment methods or even cryptocurrency, reach out for approval before bidding. If you have 0 feedback reach out before bidding or I may cancel your bid. I reserve the right to end this listing. Thanks.
