Well here we go. My now 94 year old dad bought this GMC in Cincinatti in 2012 to work on and use. As you can imagine since we drove it home it has seen little use, mostly short trips up north to church camp and South Bend to the convention. He has owned several of these in his lifetime and knows them well, he even put a new frame under his original 74 Canyon Lands that he and Mom put over 250,000 miles on. It has all new brake lines, air bags, Firestone tires, water heater, and both gas tanks have been dropped, sealed, and repainted. Also includes a rear class II hitch, the rack shown in the last picture, and extra hub caps and a manual. This unit is NOT rusty, and the frame is in really good condition with no separation, as well as the exhaust system. It runs and drives well, the generator runs great but does not put out electricity, both roof AC units work but no cab AC at this time. The original furnace is gone and it has a free standing LP unit plumbed into the bus tank. Good glass and the only delimitation is around the perimeter of the drivers side and near the center bottom of both windshields as shown, no cracks. It could use a paint job (both wheel pants are here) and the mostly original interior is fair, but the rear conversation seating is gone and is now a full size double bed with storage underneath, and the floors are now real hardwood. The all original wet bath is all original. The odometer reads just over 12,000 so one would expect it has rolled over? Take a look at the pictures, and feel free to ask Questions. It is stored inside his pole barn right here in Grand Rapids MI at his home. As far as leaks go at this time it shows none, but has been mostly in storage for the last 8 years, and all RV"s leak somewhere sooner or latter, I would never guarantee any Older RV to be leak free. No promises but I suspect it could be driven just about anywhere as these old units are legendary for reliability and it goes down the road.
