1976 Argosy 24" Travel Trailer
This trailer has been recently renovated with custom features this year.
The trailer interior was stripped down to the frame rails, and an entirely new subfloor was installed. Other than the original tambour upper cabinets, all new custom cabinetry was built including kitchen and bath cabinets, front folding bed, and dining bench area. The basic layout of the original trailer was left roughly the same, though dimensions were changed slightly to make it feel more spacious. The entire trailer interior has new paint throughout, and the Exterior was also sanded and repainted White. Trailer will comfortably sleep 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children. The water and waste system was set up exclusively for dry camping. Small holding/waste tanks are used separately in the kitchen and bath areas. A Laveo Dry Flush toiled was installed to eliminate black water waste. At least 300 hours were spent on the renovation of this Argosy. I"m only selling to help fund a house purchase.
New item include:
-All custom upholstery with a marine water repellent fabric -LED light fixtures inside and out. -12 volt converter and associated wiring cables including new fuse block -Laminate flooring in main living area, laminate tiles in bathroom -All exterior weatherstripping and window seals -Blue insert molding around exterior perimeter -Olympian Wave propane heater -110v fridge -Propane cooktop -Laveo Dry Flush Toilet -Marine foot pump for kitchen, hand pump in bathroom -Laminate countertops throughout
I am flexible regarding when the trailer needs to be picked up. I can keep a few weeks after purchase if needed. Trailer is also for sale locally, so there is a potential it could sell prior to listing end. -New E-rated tires -Propane regulators -Window and door screens all replaced -Emergency brake switch replaced -Exterior window, door, trim seems all caulked with clear water tight transition. -New fiberglass insulation from waist level down. . Upper insulation was inspected, and was in good condition.
Refurbished and repaired items
-All wiring that looked suspect was replaced with new -Axles were removed, blasted and repainted. New wheel bearings on 2 hubs. Rear seals were replaced on all axles -3 vent fans taken apart inspected and lubed -window hardware all taken apart and polished -Air conditioner checked for proper operation, and roof seals replaced. -Tambour style cabinets have been completely repainted, and a couple door slides were replaced. -
