Vehicle description
For sale is an ex. Swedish military Volvo TGB111 A MT, 4x4. Seats 2 in the front and 5 in the passenger compartment. Individual seat belts for each seating position. Engine coolant fed dual heater system keeps passengers comfortable in cold weather.
This truck has the 3 liter inline six, commonly found in the Volvo 164 with dual Stromberg carburetors, rated at 117hp.
The ZF transmission has 8 forward speeds, 4 high and 4 low and 2 reverse speeds. During normal operation in high gear the truck"s rear axle are driven, in low gear or when activated separately, it is driven on all wheels.
Each axle has a vacuum actuated diff-lock that can be engaged on the go.
Portal axle ends behind each wheel gives this truck excellent ground clearance.
This is the ultimate off-roader that will go where modified Jeeps won"t.
The body was changed to one made of aluzink dipped steel by the military on 01/23/1995. This body is almost rust proof unlike the one it replaced. Odometer reads 80895km.
Comes with military maintenance records starting 05/1977 at 2810km Tires are in good shape. No leaks from Engine, transmission, transfer case, axles or portal gears.
