Mack M54A1 5 ton 6x6 Military Truck. Rebuilt in 1975 at a depot in Taiwan, shipped back to the states and converted to a forest firefighting truck with a 2000gal water tank. Truck has 30000 miles and just over 1000 hours on the Mack ENDT-673 diesel engine. This truck is driven by a spicer 5 speed manual transmission, a two speed air shifted transfer case and is sitting on Rockwell top loader axles. Overall in excellent condition and unadulterated, mechanically excellent and runs and drives perfectly. The driver"s seat needs to be reupholstered, and there are a few spots of cosmetic surface rust. The A1 designation with diesel engine is increasingly rare, here"s your chance to own this head turning piece of history.
