Vehicle description
Description: 1975 INTERNATIONAL FLEETSTAR 2010A TRUCK BOYER FIRE ENGINE 1000 GPM HALE PUMP. This truck is ready to roll. Needs nothing. Currently registered and insured as an antique. Runs great, drives great. Does highway speeds without issue. I bought this directly from a fire dept. so I am the second owner. I cleaned it up, replaced some parts including new rear marker lights, low air pressure warning switch and buzzer, parking brake knob, gas pedal, door latch mechanism inside door, new armrest drivers side, cleaned up loose live wiring from old radios, etc. Lots of small stuff. So I got it ready for the Massachusetts state inspection and it passed. The inspection took an hour to do and was very thorough. I have not tested the pump but I can hear it spinning when I shift it into pump. The FD I got if from said it pumped fine. Interior is in great shape. No cracks on the dash. Original seats with no rips tears or repairs to the thick vinyl. Nice interior door panels and headliner. Title is in hand.
The nuts and bolts: 549 cubic inch International gas engine, Carburetor with manual choke, 5 speed transmission, 2 speed rear axle, Air brakes, Power steering, Lever on the floor with linkage to activate 1000 GPM two-stage Hale pump. 750 gallon tank. GVW 32,580, Manufactured 12-17-74. Looks like original paint and gold striping. All original and period correct warning lights and Federal Director electronic siren. Original tires with good tread and no dry rot.
I am selling this nice truck because the reality is I have no where to store it. Its been sitting in my driveway. I fixed it up, cleaned it up, drove it, had my fun with it and now its time let it go to a new home. Wish I could keep it but just not practical right now.
