Vehicle description
Tear Drop Trailer Travel Trailer Camper trailer.
This is a very well made Tear Drop trailer, the walls are 3/4" plywood skinned with aluminum. The trailer is approximately 13" overall length from the tip of the hitch to the rear of the trailer. The cabin area is approximately 8" long by 4" 6" wide. The approximate weight is 500+lbs. The camper is approximately 54" tall measured at the tallest point from the ground. The front deck area is approximately 38" long by 54" wide. The frame is 2" square steel tubing and the trailer has a dropped axle. I do have the key to the side door lock and the hatchback door lock. You can also lock the side door from the inside. The hitch uses a 2" ball. The tires are 14" (P185/75R14). The aluminum skin has the natural finish, but it can also be polished if you desired. Also notice that there are no screws all over the place holding down the skin, it has a nice smooth finish. I think the skin was glued down.Because of the way this camper was built adding shelves or cabinets or any custom touches would be an easy task. I however just used it the way it is. I liked keeping it open on the inside so I could use it haul things or use it to camp in. The large rear hatch door makes loading items very easy. When I purchased it, it did have a couple of shelves in the rear area that I removed to gain more open room.
I do not know when the trailer was built, 1970"s is a guess, I have owned this trailer for 10 plus years and towed it to car shows all over the country behind my 31 Ford rat rod. I am 6" tall and used a single bed air mattress and was very comfortable. I used a small electric heater for the chilly nights and removed the front window glass(8 screws) and sat a small window AC at the window opening with some foam pieces to seal it. I also used a 10" X 10" free standing popup as my awning. The heater, AC and popup are not included.
This camper has always been stored inside when not in use as long as I have owned it.
Camper will be sold with a bill of sale as I have never had a title for it.
