Vehicle description
ROAD-READY ! / GREAT RENTAL OPPORTUNITY
I"m selling my beloved 12" 1973 (actual year, but description wouldn’t allow me to put in 1973) Alpine Sprite, all the way from the UK. These ultra-light and super efficient campers were only manufactured in the US briefly in the mid 1980"s so it"s pretty rare.
I bought the trailer last year and had all framing reinforced or replaced, brand new insulation throughout, and new walls and ceiling (including two custom lathed walls with refurbished wood). There is no mold or mildew anywhere in or on the trailer. It"s roomy from the inside (with a 3/4-full bed and single bed) but quaint enough to pull with a mid-sized vehicle.
I LOVE THIS TRAILER. I spent a lot of care getting it read for the road (and it is! Me and my partner just drove it down from Washington).
OTHER PERKS:
Heavy duty hitch with spring and brake system
Built-in jack system for stabilized while parked
BRAND NEW TIRES (purchased 3 weeks ago)
HUGE, push out windows with original (and working!) hardware; unfortunately 2 windows are cracked, but easy and cheap repair
BRAND NEW custom 5" RV mattress
BEAUTIFUL original stovetop with 3 burners
Working water with new hose
Working and re-wired electric (still needs some finishing pieces/hardware on some of then units
Honestly, it"s been the most epic summer adventure of surf/explore/sleep under stars in a mini traveling home I ever had. Sad to see it go. Must sell.
New plates and tags. Title and registration ready for transfer.
