Vehicle description
Up for auction at is a vintage, 1974 VW bus Vanagon converted into a 15" pull behind camper . This is perfect and amazing for anyone who wants a VW camper, without having to deal with maintenance of an extra vehicle.
With a total length of only 15 feet, this VW Bus Conversion would be great for camping in national parks as it is below the length requirements. Due to its very light weight of under 3,000 pounds, practically any vehicle with a towing package can pull it comfortably.
This VW bus had a new frame welded for it. The previous owner had it titled as a 2013 pull behind trailer after completing the conversion. The engine and drivetrain were removed, and it was converted into a tow behind trailer. This freed up the front for an additional sleeping space.
The previous owner had the interior lined with birch would which looks great floor was replaced with a thick wooden slab which was then stained. Cushions were custom reupholstered for the trailer. It was painted but several areas needed to be touch up, were stripped and primed but never finished. There is plenty of storage space as well, with cabinets in the main cabin and in the rear. This requires a bit of hands on work, but it is a pretty fun trailer.
This VW Bus is an attention grabber, t hat"s probably because it"s one of a kind and no one sees anything else like it.
