This is solid lightweight enclosed trailer that could be pulled easily by Volkswagons , motorcycles, GEM cars or electric carts - or small cars.
Perfect finishing touch for your classic car - turn heads at the next car show.
Pack it up for a rod run or vintage trailer club camping trip.
Manufactured by Ladybug Trailers in San Juan Capistrano, California so far I have not found much about the company or any other trailers they made. In the 70"s Sears sold the Allstate trailer but Coleman Versa Trailer my be the closest example to this I have found.
I bought this trailer along with the 74 CJ5 Jeep in picture (((( the CJ is not included in this auction )))) from original owner he bought them both new for a camping trailer he added the on-board fresh water tank and the interior plywood deck. Notice that it still has the hand drawn packing layout written in marker.
Disappointed to see the rims were sprayed with a rattle can of flat black paint to match the CJ but check the picture I did rub some off easily with lacquer thinner. If I kept this cleaning off the paint off rims is the only cosmetic change I"d make.
The fiberglass outer lift top cover has a few cracks in the gel coat I pictured the worst of it - looks like it was caused from it own weight when the top is flipped all the way over because it rests on the coupler latch. Not a big deal it can be easily fixed if considering restoring.
CJ 5 not included in auction.
Sorry to let this go but hoping it goes out on the road behind something really cool. .
Thanks for looking. Good luck bidding.
I will crate for shipping ask for details and quote - all carrier arrangements and shipping cost are your responsibility - otherwise pick up only - prefer cash - Paypal OK
