Posted is a 1974 GMC Revcon 30 Foot motor home truly classic with all original since 1974. Double twin bed, propane stove, New refrigerator, shower heads, individual bathroom, clean, roof the rv is with made with all aluminum body. Has been strip and redone the floor adding more supports and all hardwood floor has been redone inside. All window has wooden mini blinds and propane stove, brand new refrigerator. This is the Basic plan Need works , TLC Very powerful 455 Ci V8 dual carburetor Ignition switch has been broken. but still can start up no problem. Onan Generators need to be install Original only 55,000 miles. Needs awning. Truly classic great for camping this summer. Front wheel drive, Easy to drive, power steering, Great for uphill, Straight body. No Require smog check Just register and drive, Tags are current until October/2018 it Expires
The Revcon motorhome dates back to 1968, when a man named John Hall conceived the idea of a low-profile, front-drive coach with a lightweight aluminum monocoque body.
This was not entirely a coincidence since John was the stepson of Wally Byam, the founder of Airstream.
John Hall worked for Airstream for 20 years as an engineer and later in marketing. Articles make the case for Hall being the driving force at Airstream in trailer design. That he dedicated himself to starting Revcon in 1968 was no surprise. The motor is 455 engine with GMC motor dual carburetor Clean title, Engine still strong, All interior are all there, Gas engine, Full power, RV has been Park, but it start , Needs TLC and tune up.
Inside is clean and has been upgrade flooring. The body is clean and no damage
The Revcon is built on a custom box channel frame. This makes it much more rigid than conventional C-channel designs used in most motorhomes. The coach is constructed using aircraft aluminum exterior skin, frame and interior skin. The front and rear end caps are fiberglass. It features two-inch high-density fiberglass insulation in the walls.
The interior skin is coated with a decorative layer of plastic. Advantages of this construction include extraordinary weight savings and protection from moisture
