Vehicle description
For sale is my 1973 Winnebago Minnie Winnie 20" Class C RV. 90,890 miles. Non Smoking. Originally planned on living in this RV and driving along the west coast, but a job opportunity in Maine came up, so moved there. The RV is an aluminum frame as well as sporting a rare aluminum roof, which will only ever need to be painted. No structural rust or undercarriage rust as aluminum does not oxidize. No leaks. Great condition for 1973. Runs and drives. Originally purchased last summer from a person traveling from Washington with his 3 friends, so can make long drives. Extremely comfortable chairs in good condition, no tears or stains. RV can sleep 2 in loft, and 1 on converted couch/dinette.
(note: some photos may look wonky do to panorama shots)
Some cosmetic damage to exterior ie: door has a tear on top right, small holes less than the size of a pencil eraser along the front loft (all sealed). minor scuffs and scratches, paint. Interior is in good shape, some cosmetic water damage to loft ie: false wood seam is separating on wall, false wood under bed and carpet is separating. See photos for an idea of condition. Opening mechanism for the top loft window (drivers side) is broken, but is sealed. other side functions perfectly. Dinette table hardware is included, but needs to be re-screwed into the table. Bathroom door brace needs re-screwed in as well, but is included. Awning cloth has minor holes. Connecting screws for top of awning"s left hand side are loose and need repairs for use (see photo) Cushions in good condition Everything shown inside save be for the decorative grey and white pillows comes with the RV. Interior lights swapped out for LEDs. Fairy lights installed in loft.
All appliances work, ie: fridge, stove, new water pump, water heater, air heater, venting fans. Fridge runs on electric or gas, oven/stove runs on gas, both heaters (water and air) run on gas. 2 propane tanks, 20 gallon water storage, no leaks.
Engine is based on dodge b300, parts are easy to find and cheap. Runs strong, starts quick. Newer battery, as well as second battery for interior. If not warmed up for a while engine will die once accelerator is pressed when in drive or reverse, but adjusting the carburetor fuel mixture and a carb rebuild/cleaning will likely fix that as it is a fuel mixture issue. engine is nice to work on as it is inside the coach interior. 2 gas tanks, both connected to one gas vent tube, so RV needs to be parked level if left for extended periods, or gas may spill out due to pressures change. New spark plugs, distributor cap, and pvc valve. Includes complete tear down repair manual, bluetooth radio, new speakers, and new toilet.
Car can be registered as classic so does not need to pass emissions, but likely will if fuel mixture is fixed, gasket replaced and carb rebuilt. Emissions test posted high o2 at low idle.
sold as is with no warranty.
RV has been winterised.
