Vehicle description

Here is your chance to own a unique, vintage high-end motor home with Airstream roots! This 1973 RevCon 250 Aluminum Class A 25ft Motorhome is looking for a good owner who will give it a little TLC to restore it to its former glory. RevCon was started by John Hall, the stepson of Airstream"s founder, Wally Byam. Mr. Hall was an engineer at Airstream for for 20 years before founding RevCon. The Good: It runs and drives . Has a low center of gravity, is FWD, and was rumored to get up to 100 mph! 2 side awnings, stove and oven, refrigerator and generator work good. The beds and dinette have newer coverings and foam. Has all new tires and a new spare, plus new brake lines to the rear & brand new battery. Engine is either a 389 or 455 Oldsmobile. Previous owner said it was rebuilt in 2005. Full manual is included. The Bad: The furnace is out and the air doesn"t work, the water system needs work (all water system parts have been purchased, but the wrong size pipes were purchased, so it just needs longer pipes and installation).
The Fine Print: The photos were taken in April 2021. Since then, my daughter started redoing the carpet, wallpaper, cabinet doors, and countertops, but did not finish them. New, uninstalled carpet, wallpaper, and countertop covering is included so you can finish the job she started. The odometer reads 18,171.9 but we have no idea whether that is accurate. The odometer only has 5 digits plus the 1/20 digit. The engine runs rough and probably needs some work but is drivable. My daughter drove it from Portland to Salem with no issues.
Why We"re Selling: My 22 year old daughter bought it in April 2021, planning to renovate it and live in it. Unfortunately, she became ill and was unable to finish the job. My husband and I live in the Midwest, and I am out here in Salem, OR, helping her to sell it and move home to the Midwest. If my husband and I were closer to retirement, we would buy it ourselves.
