Vehicle description
So this beauty is a 1973 Prevost Bus that was once owned by Sammy Kershaw. It is a pusher of course, with a 8-71 2 stroke 8 cylinder Detroit Diesel that we were told was recently rebuilt. I have no way to verify that statement. I do have a rebuild slip from 1998 that is pictured. There looks to have been about 9k worth of work done at that time. I am also told that it had some interior cosmetic upgrades about the same time. This bus runs a spicer 4 speed manual transmission with a Hurst floor shifter. Pretty cool. The generator is a massive thing that also fires right up. It is a 4 cylinder diesel, although I do not know the origin of it. The pictures I think represent its condition well. Of course I have more pics available to anyone who is serious. Ebay limits my number to 25. The tires, all 10 of them appear to be in excellent condition, with very limited wear. The bus fires right up, air blows cold, everything works as it should. We are interested in selling it. So, the high bidder will own this bus, so be thoughtful, ask questions, and know that we expect it to be done within the timeline set forth. We bought this bus because it is interesting, it has a history, and it"s just plain cool. We are dealers in the business in SD, so your paperwork etc will be handled professionally, and no, we don"t charge a fee for doing so. We were told that it was owned by Sammy Kershaw, and there is some documents laying around that point that direction, however, there is no registration stating such to be true. Either way, we are going to set the opening bid low, and we are going to sell it.
