Vehicle description
For your consideration is a 1973 Piper “Aztec” PA 23-250. This aircraft was involved in an accident on a taxiway. The Nose gear collapsed and caused a dual prop strike. This Aztec has 5810 TT Airframe and 1765 hrs SMOH on both Lycoming IO-540 Engines. This plane is located in Loganville, GA at Spring Valley Farm Airport (6GA4). The left engine needs to be replaced but the right engine can be serviced. Both engines will require prop strike engine inspections along with two serviceable props. The nose landing gear will require a used serviceable unit with a drag link as well. Both nose gear doors have some damage. Blade antenna mounted on forward belly was damaged. Some damage to fiberglass nose. It is currently out of annual. This Aztec has an excellent paint job. The Aztec is well equipped with Garmin Model GNS 530 Nav/Com, King Model KX 155 Transponder, Garmin Model GTX 330 ADF, King Model KR 87 Audio Panel, King Model KMA 24 as well as a BFG Stormscope and Electronics International EGT. If you are familiar with the Aztec, it is a “heavy hauler.” it has a large useful load and can cruise at 172 mph. It is a great transporter. There are plenty of used serviceable parts for the PA 23-250. They are relatively inexpensive and common. Upon the winning party’s acceptance, I will require a deposit of $5000.00 to a closing company. I utilize an Aircraft Title Company in Oklahoma City, OK. They are AOPA approved and typically cost $550 to facilitate the transaction. They check for liens and file all paperwork directly to the FAA. I would be willing to split the cost. I do not use paypal. If you have any further questions regarding the transaction or specific repairs please contact Michael at (520) 585-2919
