1973 Grumman Yankee This a 1973 Grumman A1-B. I bought it for my son to build time in last Summer. He is now going to a flight school full time and does not have time to fly it. In February the airplane had a prop strike, not my son. As a result the Lycoming O-235 Engine was rebuilt by a shop in Durant Oklahoma. The engine has many new parts including new Factory Cylinders and pistons, new cam and lifters and two new magnetos. It has a new Macaulay propeller. The annual was just completed in July. The airplane is now running perfectly and the next owner can have confidence in this aircraft as a time builder or personal airplane. It has new LED instrument lights and all instruments work. The airspeed indicator was just rebuilt .The interior is in good shape with the exception of a tear in the Captains seat. It is STC for auto gas. Total time 3240 Hours, Time since engine rebuild 13 Hours, Total time on new prop 13 Hours ADS-B OUT
