Vehicle description
You are looking at a 1973 GMC motorhome. This motorhome has a new Engine and transmission, and has been gone through extensively. I purchased this RV after seeing one on the highway and falling in love. It is absolutely the coolest thing on the highway. FLY IN AND DRIVE HOME!
Mechanical: I purchased a rebuilt 455 from S&J engines and had it professionally installed. At the same time, Had the shop go through the entire motorhome and make sure everything was working as it should. I have the receipts for all work performed. It has new Dash mounted A/C with all lines and drier replaced. Additional oil cooler installed. new batteries, Fuel system was gone through with new pumps and lines and filters, Generator gone through brushes replaced and carb rebuilt. the starter bracket for the generator is cracked and it will not engage the flywheel sometimes this is a common issue, i do have the new upgraded heavy duty bracket but it has not been installed yet. It runs extremely well and just 50 miles ago the transmission went so I just had the transmission rebuilt and it works flawlessly. the new motor has about 1000 miles on it and the transmission has about 50 miles on it. this thing will cruise down the highway at 70 no problem. The air suspension does leak but I just pump it up about once every 2 weeks. There is a push button started and battery cutoff switch. it brakes well and really floats down the road nicely.
Interior: We had the interior all professionally removed with very high end linen material that is super 70s and cool. The appliances all work including the original furnace. it has a really cool buddy seat up front for your family to hang out and talk. It has bunk beds and rear master. there are absolutely no leaks but in as few areas it has leaked before we got it and warped two panels a little bit, it looks really awesome and original overall and is very comfortable.
Exterior: This RV was painted before we got it and I would say some years ago. Its totally presentable and shines up pretty well.We like the retro look of it. it has a scratches and dings throughout but nothing not to be expected from a almost 40 year old RV, no fiberglass repairs or dents.
This is an awesome RV that turns heads and stops people in their tracks add that with an all new drive train and it has been gone through and you got your self the coolest damn Motorhome there is. I have receipts for all work mentioned above. Feel free to ask any questions and good luck bidding!
