Vehicle description

Crown Coach 3 Day Absolute Auction This is one of the few remaining Crown Coaches This is one of 5 buses (2 MCI"s, 3 Crown"s) that are slated for the scrap yard. Since I had nothing to do today, I went to work on this bus, put in some batteries, some fuel , a little priming and it runs like a sewing machine after being parked 9 years in Butte County, Idaho. This is built by the Crown Bus Company as in the Crown School Buses. Crown changed their design very little from the 1940"s to the 1990"s when they closed up shop. So this is the newest-retro bus you will find outside of some bone yard in eastern Europe . The others will probably start getting hauled to the scale on Tuesday. So I will open this up for a three day auction. Please don"t ask how much the scale is paying . It has a 8V71 Detroit Diesel Engine, 5 Speed Standard Transmission, Air Brakes, No restroom. It is equipped with Air Conditioning. But there is no belt on the Freon Compressor Pully and I do not know if it will work. ( I doubt it will work) There is some rust , this is bus is from dry Idaho, not salty Iowa so it is in pretty good shape. I put 8 gallons of water in it, It sounds great, It has good power. But I guaranty nothing. This is sold as is where is. You can trailer it or you can try and drive it. Thank You, Daniel Hanson
I will include some photos of the other buses to be scrapped.
