Vehicle description
We are moving from our farm in Maine to Florida and are selling all our stuff to minimize moving expenses. This is a nice Airstream I purchased in 2016 from a lady in Cape Neddick that was living in it while she remodeled her house. It is ready for the new owner"s palette. We meant to remodel it but never got a round to it. Common story I know. I have more pictures to take and post and will do so in the next day or so along with the information tag/plate and the VIN number.
It has leveling jacks, tanks underneath for potable and gray water, tongue jack, heat and air (?) - the unit on top. Body is straight and the only dent is a small crease along the bottom front right panel - hardly noticeable and doesn"t compromise the integrity of the unit. Front side left window broken by rock, but no leaks around it. Camper has no leaks! The most critical thing. Tandem axles with new tires in 2015, but they have set outdoors since we"ve had it and hasn"t been moved, so they are in whatever condition tires subjected to that will be in. I"ll take a photo of the tires and post as well.
Fridge was new when I bought it, we have never used it. Stove functions, some original materials remain, but mostly gutted for a remodel. Forgive the weeds and glasshouse parts stored inside. I will remove the stored materials and glass. Needs a battery to operate tongue jack - buyer bring a battery.
I"ve got $3,000.00 in it, charges 10% plus a few more bucks for the extra photos, so I"ll start the auction at $3,300.00 and let her go for whatever she brings. It"s a square deal. Buyer must pick up in Maine. Go visit Acadia National Park while you"re here, it is only just a bit over an hour away. If you"ve never been, you will wonder why you waited so long. There are several lobster pounds enroute, so enjoy your visit. Bon Chance.
