Vehicle description
1973 20 foot Airstream Argosy travel trailer . Front panoramic wrap around windows, very desirable. Single axle. Seems to have been well taken care of over the years. Overall the trailer is in very good condition. These small vintage airstreams are getting harder to find. The exterior is nice with only minor dings as shown in the pictures. Appears to have original paint with some paint flecking and wearing thin especially on the top of the trailer. The tongue, rear bumper and wheels have been sandblasted and repainted . Newly fabricated stainless - steel rear bumper compartment lid. New trailer tires. The wheel bearing s have been repacked and brakes cleaned and checked. All light s work and the clearance light assemblies are new. The electrical cord is new. The breakaway switch is new . The belly pan is good condition with the front 4 foot replace d with new aluminum sheeting. The tail light housing plastic is broken and would need to be repaired at some point. Some are replacing this housing with later model airstream tail lights. The interior has what looks to be the original upholstery on the couch/pull out bed and dinette seating and is in fair condition. The cabinets are in very good condition, all open , shut and latch properly. The sliding bath door is in good condition as well. The floor seems very solid and the visible areas beneath the front dinette, couch and cabinets show no signs of rot as can be evidenced by the pictures. The refrigerator functions well on electric but is untested on gas, it looks very good. The stove looks very good but is untested. The sink is in great shape. The bath area is in good condition. The air conditioner works. There is a small remnant of the original green shag carpet under the front dinette bench , in case someone would want to return the flooring to its original vibe of the 70. Any questions please don"t hesitate to ask. Four Two Three four One Six three nine five zero. Thanks Steve
