We are selling our Beach/Dunes Rig a 1972 Winnebago Brave D20, this vintage Class A motorhome is highly desirable and rare classic design not many left still on the road. This rig is completely setup for Beach/Dune"s used for years in the Cape National Seashore, it has the ideal wheelbase, sand tires setup along with a 2 INCH BODY LIFT lets it crawl around on the sand like nothing!
We wish we had the property to leave it and fix it up in the future. But don"t get this wrong, it is 46 years old - it needs some things, but with that saying its in great shape. Most if not all things work - PASSED INSPECTION LAST YEAR 2017 - Onan Generator starts and runs great - Updated/Upgraded Suburban heater - The Refrigerator - Works even on Propane! - Black tank holds - Cooktop works (not sure about Oven) - Hot water needs a part to work - Running water - toilet works, shower works, both sink faucets work - Roof AC Works great - Passed inspection last year - Ready for a Solar Panel - Wires ran and control mounted on the wall - Converter works - converts 110 to 12v and also charges the batteries! - Most 110 Outlet work when Shoreline/Generator is on!
This is built better than anything you can buy these days, but it is a project and needs some love. If you are looking for a shiny flimsy fiberglass RV don"t buy this. This is a Vintage RV in which NOT MANY still exist. I wanted to keep it and put a 4X4 conversion in it but I"m afraid it will take to long to get the chance. I am hoping to find a good fit, the rig is ideal for someone looking for a Ultimate Beach/Dunes Rig or a project it"s a great platform for Van Life, tiny homes, off-road adventure mobile or a project for travelling with the family!
This is for a 46 year old vintage motorhome, although it has great bones - it"s not perfect at all and needs some work. It is currently parked in Bourne Cape Cod, Massachusetts. I am hoping to get down there soon and will take picture of the inside and make sure it starts etc. Last year the RV ran and I drove it 90 miles to where it currently is but it needs a few things. I am not a mechanic but I believe it needs the following - An Motor Mount and without it it shakes pretty bad - Exhaust leak - Power steering leak
I am not a mechanic and have no idea the exact condition of everything that and it being a "72 is the reason I am selling AS-IS. It"s truly awesome Camper we have used for years
