Vehicle description
* Link to VIDEO WALKTHROUGH at the bottom of description.* We renovated this 1972 Nomad camper, until it was useable as a bedroom for a caregiver. It has new appliances, including a matching, red, vintage-style, fridge, microwave, & coffee maker/toaster oven/griddle combo; as well as a portable induction cooktop. We also have a new 3000 watt inverter, a 1000 watt inverter, & a marine deep-cycle battery, but we haven"t installed it or bought a charger yet. It"s towed by a 2" ball hitch that seems to be in good working order, though we only brought it about half a mile. The leveling jack had to come off during transport, & we"ve purchased another. The Nomad also has new flooring, R-5 insulation, a new walnut countertop w/ reclaimed wood cabinets, & new battery-powered, push-button lighting. The 3-sided dining benches double as storage. We also gave it a new tabletop surface, paint, tin ceiling, Buddy propane heater, & 8,000 BTU electric AC. (We just ran an extension cord from our house, since we haven"t installed the electric yet.) We began installing a new door on the side closer to our house, but it needed a different frame. We just recently found one, & the pics are above. We *have* a bar-sized sink for the kitchen, & a motion-sensor faucet, but we haven"t installed them yet. We did replace the rotting floor, & most of the rotting studs, in the bathroom section. (Two are left, & we"ll replace those.) We have corrugated metal, plus R-10 insulation board, for the walls of the bathroom, & a composting toilet solution, but haven"t installed those yet either. After watching the videos below, you"ll know everything I know about the camper, & it"s offered in good faith, as a layperson, not an expert. I"m not making or giving any other warranties, expressed or implied. Buyer is responsible for vehicle pick-up or shipping. Any other defects are beyond my area of expertise, & I"m not responsible for any defects not expressly listed. You are welcome to come make a detailed inspection yourself, & bring a mechanic or knowlegeable friend.
