4046 TT Airframe 433 SMOH (150hp Lycoming O-320) Compression 79/78/74/77 ValCom 760 digital flip flop radio King KT-76A transponder Current annual inspection 24 gallon fuel tanks, 22 useable.
Plane flies great with tons of power, good speeds and short takeoff. There is no history of damage reported on the NTSB database. Paint is in better than average condition and would look better if buffed out. It has ran only 100LL for at least the last 5 years but does have the STC to run auto fuel if you can get it without ethanol where you live. While not perfect, it is nicer than most. It has a few dings, scuffs and scratches but nothing that is major or affects airworthiness and no corrosion oil or fuel leaks. A new gel cell battery has just been installed and oil just changed. Here is your chance to get a big engine Grumman with no reserve. If you"ve never flown one, they are pretty awesome. Delivery possible depending on location.
$1000 deposit due through PayPal within 24 hours of auction close, full payment within 7 days by cash, wire transfer or check. Aircraft can and will be relisted if you fail to meet the payment timeline. If you have a unique situation, please talk to me about it BEFORE bidding and interfering with the bidding of others. If paying by check (cashier"s included), please allow time for funds to clear before picking up. Aircraft will not be released until paid for in full. Hangar fees paid for 7 days after auction close. Aircraft may stay in hangar awaiting pickup for $5/day. * IF you pay full amount within 48 hours, I will fill the fuel tanks for free AND include a handheld Magellan GPS.*
Buyer responsible for pickup or arrangement of ferry pilot. I have a few pilots who can deliver it to you. If you need that service, please discuss this with me before bidding.
Plane is for sale locally. If you would like to make an offer that we agree on, I will add a buy it now price to the auction for you.
This is without a doubt the fastest 150hp AA1A or B that I have ever flown. The last picture showing the Ground Speed of 166 mph was taken at full throttle, level at 1500 feet, no wind, single pilot and 1/2 fuel tanks.
