Here I have that economical Dump Truck that would make your life so much easier! Just imagine how much time you will save while working on things! This 72 GMC starts right up and runs good. The four speed transmission shifts smooth. Clutch is good and tight. There are no major leaks, just a little seepage on the bottom of the pan. She is full of antifreeze. Just had a fresh oil change. PTO engages fine, bed goes up as it should. It comes down a little slow but I would rather have it to slow then to fast. I am pretty sure the down speed is adjustable. She has a new battery and the gas tank has been removed and cleaned. The seats in the truck are out of a Suburban. They are power seats but they are just sitting in it and should be bolted down.
The truck runs/drives decent. I have not had it on the highway since I have owned it. I would recommend putting new tires on before any high speed or cross country trips
The brakes work OK. It has a low pedal but once you pump it the pedal comes right up. If your under the truck and have someone pump the brakes you can hear the springs on the shoes expanding. I am pretty sure the shoes are just out of adjustment and can be fixed without to much trouble. selling with a staring bid of just 1972.00 so be on top to buy it.
