Vehicle description
1972 Airstream Sovereign Land Yatch with clear title bonus items to get you started. Blank canvas ready for your design. Minor scrapes and dings from the years but otherwise in beautiful shape. All windows intact and working order. Purchased to restore for the family but unfortunate developments means no renovation for a long while. Was stored by the previous owner in their barn. Currently covered for weather protection under an RV cover on our property. Original axles will need to be upgraded as part of the renovation but it towed easily behind our Nissan Armada for the 6 hours trip from Michigan to southern Ohio. Upgraded electric jack. All 3 vents and the rooftop a/c have been removed as part of the demo. Already resealed the seams from the upper windows down to the lower portion of the entire body. Was going to do the upper portion with the installation of the rooftop a/c with heat and vents. I honestly haven’t really examined the seams up top very closely, I just planned to do so precautionary before installing everything. Original weight just under 5,000lbs with a hitch weight of 520lbs.
Items not installed but ARE included in the sale: -3 MaxxAir Maxxfan Deluxe Roof Vents -Heated flooring and underlay for use with floating/vinyl flooring -500 sq ft Reflectix bubble wall insulation -480 sq ft sheep’s wool wall insulation (eco friendly) -new 50 amp cord/hookup -120 amp hour deep cycle lithium battery (perfect amount to start using solar, will power vents and 12volt but need more batteries for a/c and heat off grid) -12 volt usb power outlets -Original interior skins and framing (some) that was salvaged from the demo -Original interior end caps (1 has a crack in the fiberglass but can be repaired or used as a mold for replacement with a custom piece -Original window screens -Original fresh and grey water tanks (needs cleaning, was planning to upgrade to larger tanks) -Original hood for range, kitchen sink, and storage bins as well as some interior lights
