Vehicle description
This no reserve auction is for a 1972 Airstream Sovereign International Land Yacht in original condition.
This travel trailer features a factory leather futon with a retractable dining table, and all factory appliances including the original refrigerator, furnace/heater, and microwave (door missing), as well as original floors and mattresses. It is an ideal candidate for restoration in original condition, or to be gutted and renovated as you want it. The Air Conditioning unit and control panel works, the interior lights and power work, but the other appliances have not been tested due to age (refrigerator, oven).
The previous owner attempted to remove scrapes using a metal brush, leaving some marks around the windows and door on the passengers side and some scraping on the drivers side. Both instances can be viewed in the images. Our suggestion would be to sand down these irregularities and polish the entire Airstream. The body is in great condition with no other noteworthy dents or dings, and would clean up very nicely!
We"d suggest replacing the tires (we can help for an additional fee) before towing, but it tows well as it as and the tires do hold air.
This is an AS IS auction. We"ve included what we know about this Airstream.
A deposit of $1,000 is due via PayPal within 24 hours of winning the auction.
