Vehicle description
This is Arthur, purchased as a project several years ago, but I unfortunately my situation has changed and I do not have time to work on him much anymore.
Accepting offers but I"m not in a rush to sell.
I"ll start with the bad (see photos): There was a leak in the roof before I purchased him, most of the plywood on the drivers side wall has been removed, along with the bed over the wheels and the closet. center stiffener on the tongue is rotten, still tows wonderfully, but should be replaced. I"ve received quotes ranging $300-500 Both rear leveling jacks are missing (torn off? who knows. ) PO gave me 2 bent ones, non-matching, not sure if they"re original. It"s 46 years old. Original furnace and fridge were rusted to bits, both removed. (mini-fridge in place currently). Saved about 1000lbs towing weight! Heat is by portable electric heaters. mild jackknife at some point, right front corner bent up and mostly straightened out. Electric panel/ cable door missing rear bumper bent (looks like someone jacked it in the middle?) dents/dings/scrapes The awesome: Just look at it! This camper is so cool, even has remains of the original owner"s name stickers by the front door. fully re-plumbed in PEX Girard Tankless Water Heater NEW ceramic RV toilet NEW rooftop AC unit Full shower/kid-sized bathtub. Bathroom is 6x6 foot. It"s HUGE for an RV. LED taillight conversion mostly new running lights (and more still in box, just not gotten to them. ) have the rock shields for the curved front windows, forgot to photograph them. They store under the front awning. New gas struts for the awning too. Aluminum propane tanks Original stove/oven works beautifully New tires 2 years ago, appx 3k miles on them, re-packed bearings. New battery charger, new deep cycle battery. new 7 pin std RV tow plug New propane regulator and hoses, have the original regulator, needs overhauled. Old linoleum pulled up and mostly replaced with peel and stick wood strips, self stick tile in the bathroom. takes a 2 5/16" ball Arthur weighs appx 5000lbs, (not positive, never weighed it). He tows pretty well behind my old Range Rover (7500 max capacity) using a Hensley Hitch. Just slow up the hills. You don"t need a BIG truck to tow this. See my other listing for my Hensley, 5% discount if you purchase both!
I may be able to transport it, depending on my work schedule.
