Vehicle description
The Eriba Puck trailer is the perfect accessory for a vintage VW bug or bus. Eriba is a German company that has been making trailers since the 1950s and still makes RV"s for the European market today. The Puck is the smallest model in their lineup. Built with air-cooled VW"s in mind, the Eriba Puck is lightweight, stylish and fully functional. The trailer weighs approximately 800lbs with a tounge weight of approximately 50lbs. It is constructed with a tubular steel frame, aluminum outer skins and a fiberglass pop Top. This particular trailer is a 1971, third owner, California vehicle. The interior of this trailer ready for restoration. I have two not original benches but are currently not installed. The skin is uneven in the back of the trailer (see photos). I replaced the fabric (sunbrella orange) on the pop top and added mesh vents to keep the bugs out. I also have a small metal stage that could be used as a deck for the trailer. These trailers are nearly impossible to find in the US. When we werent using the trailer for camping trips we had it parked in our backyard and our kids used it as a club house. Trailer width is 65 inches. Because the trailer is so light and narrow we were able to push the trailer by hand in and out of our backyard (double gate). The body length is approx 125 inches. The last two photos are for reference only.
