For sale is this 1970 Datsun 510 race car. This is a fully prepared vintage racecar. Has been a racecar for well over 20 years.
Body is solid. Paint shines up nice. By no means a show car, but presents itself well. Interior recently refreshed. Gauges and switches function as they should. Windshield wiper and rear light installed for racing in the rain.
Specs are as follows:
Engine: FRESHLY REBUILT 87mm pistons Closed chamber (Peanut) head 10:1 compression 280z valves (bigger) 240z water pump No rev limiter - keep under 8k Transmission: 5 speed close ratio from a 280zx 2 disc Quartermaster clutch 80w90 gear lube
Rear Differential: 3.83 gears installed Comes with a spare 4.34 ratio rear end 180/200 rear end will fit Suspension / Brakes: Koni adjustable shocks 1.25 front sway bar Front discs from 280ZX in the front Stock drums in the rear DOT 3 brake fluid This Datsun has an ARMS log book, as well as an SCCA log book, where the most recent entry (and the last time the car was raced) was at Thompson Speedway in June of 2019.
Chassis is very solid. Well built and well sorted.
