1969 23" Airstream Safari (Tiny House)- Restored for actress Catherine Bell. (Army Wives)
This is a GORGEOUS, custom, fully restored, no expense spared Airstream.
Made to be used mainly as an office/guest room. The front of the trailer is a huge U shaped desk facing all the gorgeous windows out. The sofa opens to a full size bed. The bathroom is very oversized (no more tiny cramped Airstream bathroom). Full size shower, stainless steel pedestal sink, large porcelain toilet. 23 " Airstream Safari All 110 power, interior lights will work off battery, no generator Rear mounted black/gray tanks No cook top, only microwave and refrigerator Water heater LP two tanks on front tow bar Floor - hardwood Interior walls - Aluminum (door & area surrounding door to bathroom not aluminum) Aluminum skid plate that covers the entire underbelly to protect during travel & keep critters out Acrylic top display case Shelves and lots of storage Top mount heat/ac unit Work was performed by Sierra Trailer Restoration, they do amazing work - check out their website at www.sierratrailerrestoration.com, it is shown as the Airstream office with all the before and after pictures.
This is a gem! ! A real head turner inside and out. Whether you use it for an office, guest house or for weekend getaways, you will absolutely love it and so will everyone that passes by!
The trailer could do with some light polishing. it is the original aluminum skin, slight scratches exist. And of course, the trailer is being sold AS IS. For 50 yrs old looks amazing! !
I purchased this Airstream in 2010 on Ebay directly from Catherine Bell. I have used it as my home office during the summer months since then. Has not been on the road since I purchased it. New tires are being installed this week. The Airstream is located at our cabin in Lake City, Colorado (very remote area, 6 hours from Denver). I can recommend the same hauling service I used when purchased in South Carolina.
