1969 PLAYMOR 140 14ft Camper 10.5 ft Box weighs around 975 lbs _————————————————————————————————
This is a 1969 PLAYMOR 140 camper . It has so many strong points : 3 way refrigerator WORKS 3 Burner stove WORKS It is 100% original . The floors are solid . The vinyl flooring is in excellent shape . ALL window cranks Work All screens are intact and perfect. All glass is there and perfect. The front door is in excellent condition also Seals tightly and solidly. The upholstery is worn and needs replacing although the cushion foam is reusable We recently got 4.5 INCHES of Rain over 2 days . No leaks except at rear corner of back window . It will need Lauan replaced on the back wall . I haven’t found any other leaks . There has been some damage to the left lower front corner . All in all this is a very nice solid trailer of 49 YEARS OLD . Tires are new and it will have new taillights installed this week for towing . It is a Pleasure to pull . You don’t know it’s behind you unless you check your mirrors . BAD : The previous owner decided that he wanted to use it for a hunting cabin so he painted it with Camo paint and recoated the roof with KOOL SEAL. It also has sealant on the screw heads of the windows. Kleen Strip and a stiff brush will melt it away pretty easily . I took about 45 minutes and cleaned around the door and 3 side windows clean enough to repaint . I really hate to sell it . It came into my life at the worst possible time . I’ve already got an old Muscle car and a number of HONDA MINI BIKES already awaiting restoration . I was becoming obsessed with working on it and remodeling ASAP . I hate to sell it but it’s sitting in the driveway staring at me every time I go to my shop . . .it needs exactly what I love to do woodwork, carpentry and painting . . But not now . That’s not what I need to do. . . PLEASE LOOK at the PICS . I’ve even included a pic sketch of how I wanted to paint it. The pictures aren’t the best because they were taken through the screen from outside . Thank you . . . .If you read this far into my description. If you have any questions or additional pictures please send email .
