Vehicle description
This custom, renovated Airstream is an adventurer"s dream. We spent one year renovating this beauty and then a year travelling all over America. It is now ready for a new owner!400W Flexible solar panels together with 2000W inverter/charger and four golf cart batteries will ensure that you have plenty of power when you boondock. Trailer tongue was professionally designed and reinforced to hold the battery boxes and for improved maneuverability. New tires including a spare, re-chromed original half moon hub caps. Belly pan was dropped, rotten wood replaced, frame was inspected and treated against rust. The whole trailer was then sealed including the often problematic back bumper area. The interior features custom walnut dinette (table lowers down to make a bed) and wraparound cabinet, walnut countertops in kitchen and bath. Fresh zero VOC Benjamin Moore paint throughout. Vessel sink in bathroom and premium Delta Trinsic champagne bronze faucets with custom marble tile backsplash in kitchen and bathroom shower. New hickory hardwood floors. We painstakingly renovated the furniture instead of ripping it out because we wanted to preserve the vintage feel including the original walnut veneer 2-way fridge. New solar wiring and updated existing electrical, LED lights, partly new PEX plumbing, new water tank, new pump, new gas lines, copper water lines (kills germs). New wave 6 catalytic propane heater that is safe to run inside (stay comfortable even around 10°F). Original ZipDee curved arm awning in working order. Exterior freshly polished. We have the original manual together with original receipts from the first owner. All appliances work fridge, heater, water heater, stovetop except the oven (pilot light stays lit but I couldn"t get the oven to work yesterday, its a bit temperamental). There is too many updates and upgrades to list but I saved every single receipt from every purchase during renovation. The trailer was professionally appraised by James Polk, an Airstream expert, for insurance purpose at 57 500. As per Polk Valuations this travel trailer is in outstanding condition. This is a fifty year old trailer, so it is not perfect but it is in remarkable shape for the age. For viewing or more info contact Jeremy
